Black sediment appears in rural water tanks and pipes; the water was clear at first. Why is this happening?
Judging from the title, if the water is dark enough, it can be put in bottles and sold as ink – it’s a great way to make money. If the water quality turns black, it is necessary to identify the cause in order to find an appropriate method for treatment. Some sediments in water conveyance pipelines are usually stable and do not easily fall off the pipes and get carried away by the water. However, if there are significant changes in the environment and conditions under which the water is conveyed, the stable conditions of these sediments are disrupted, and they may then be carried away by the water.
