If the first-stage scrubber used for purifying acid produced from smelting flue gas is changed from one that uses regular dilute acid spray to one that uses 55% sulfuric acid spray, then should the water vapor content in the flue gas exiting this first-stage high-efficiency scrubber (at 72°C) be that of saturated water vapor? (The purified flue gas contains 28% moisture and is unsaturated.) In other words, it is easier to understand whether the acid concentration in the first washing cycle increases gradually or decreases gradually. In my opinion, as the concentration gradually increases and the water in the acid keeps evaporating, it is necessary to add fresh water to the acid or to pass the acid from a later stage to an earlier one in order to maintain the concentration. I agree with the view that the acid concentration in the first washer cycle of Fangzhi Party is rising. However, the temperature of the flue gas further downstream may be higher, and it is crucial to be able to control the level of dry absorption.
