The original two gas boilers (natural gas) were used to supply hot water for kitchens and bathrooms, as well as for the air conditioning and heating systems. Now it is necessary to add a solar system, either to produce hot water directly or to preheat the boiler water indirectly. I hope everyone can offer suggestions regarding process design. Thank you!

Hot water for the kitchen and bathroom cannot be preheated (it has to be drained, and the water supply is heated using solar energy). It can be used in air conditioning and heating systems to preheat the boiler water. However, solar hot water is generally used directly, and rarely for preheating water.
