1. Mark the required filling height inside the tower and draw a line indicating that height. 2. Check the amount of catalyst dust and debris; those in large quantities should be screened. 3. Before loading each batch, lay two layers of 8–10 mesh stainless steel wire mesh on the grating inside the tower; when laying the mesh, overlap the edges by 20–30 cm, and secure it to the grating with stainless steel wires. A layer of fire-resistant balls with a height of 100 mm and a diameter of 25 mm is placed on the screen, followed by two layers of stainless steel wire mesh with a mesh size of 16–20, and then a low-activation catalyst is filled in. 4. The medium-temperature catalyst of the corresponding model is lifted to the platform at the loading manhole by a winch through a temporary lifting basket. 5. The two persons are responsible for pouring the catalyst into the tower on the platform at the manhole loading area. 6. When the catalyst in this section has been filled to half its height, assign personnel to enter the tower to level the catalyst inside. Workers inside the tower are prohibited from stepping directly on the catalyst and thermocouple sheaths; wooden planks should be placed under the catalyst. 7. After each layer of catalyst is loaded, level its surface with a wooden board, and then add another layer of refractory balls with a height of 100 mm and a diameter of 25 mm. 8. Note: After filling the catalyst in the upper section and leveling it, lay two layers of 16–20 mesh stainless steel wire mesh, then install a 200 mm oxygen scavenger, and finally add refractory balls with a height of 100 mm and a diameter of 25 mm. 9. After each loading cycle is completed, a designated person is responsible for promptly measuring and recording various data and parameters, which are then archived for future reference. (Including the batch number, weight, height of the catalyst, its relative position to the thermocouple, etc.) 10. After each section is filled as required and passes inspection, the insulation core is installed, and then the manhole is sealed. 11. Catalyst loading should be carried out on a sunny day, and moisture exposure must be prevented during the process. 12. The catalyst loading model and quantity must meet the specified requirements
