Should the buoy level be used as a means for liquid level verification? This will be very **annoying. Just looking at the glass plate isn’t enough.
For floating tanks, the liquid level position during water transport should be the same as that during normal operation.
After conversion, use water to calibrate the position
The tower doesn’t have a level gauge; the float is used to determine the level
The towers are float level indicators; there is no liquid level, nor are they calibrated based on a liquid level
It is done through density conversion, and then water is poured into the float for verification
The electrical float used to measure the interface cannot detect it during water testing; it is necessary to explain this clearly to the process team, as the values displayed at such times are incorrect.
All of this is known – towers are used for measuring level positions, and it’s not possible to determine the liquid level using such processes
There’s nothing to do about it; we need to explain to them clearly that this custom-made float cannot be used for measuring liquid levels – it’s not a double-flange type that can be modified as needed. We also explain the water testing procedures to the process team so that they can understand as well.
Well, the design is unreasonable – the towers are all at their maximum capacity, and there’s no point in having a lower limit at the bottom of the tower; it’s better to just use the maximum capacity straight away. The instrument also doesn’t want to be calibrated based on the liquid level; it will need to be recalibrated once oil is introduced. The process cannot be started because the liquid level cannot be monitored; a meeting is currently in progress to discuss this issue
