Resin gear pumps are generally used in environments with high corrosion levels, and mechanical seals are a good choice.
Which type of mechanical seal would be better? The one I used before leaked and broke down very quickly
I don’t know what medium you are using, nor where the mechanical seal was damaged in the past. If it is a mechanical seal leakage, the problem often lies in the material of the stationary ring seat; you can use higher-quality rubber materials such as nitrile rubber, or opt for a double-sided mechanical seal.

Mechanical seal resins can get stuck and damaged easily when they dry out; it still seems that a filler-based seal is the better option
