First and foremost, it must be established that the quality department should be under the management of the production department; without a production line, any talk of a quality or environmental protection department is meaningless. Quality issues should be addressed only after production becomes stable. I’m not sure how state-owned enterprises manage things, but in our private enterprise, everything focuses first on ensuring that the equipment operates stably, safely, and over a long period of time

It seems the original poster is a quality control specialist; I was fortunate enough to work in quality control for a few years as well. If it were me, I would take the following steps: 1. While maintaining the existing production processes, strengthen inspections, provide proper training, raise operators’ awareness of self-inspection, and ensure effective quality control； 2. Report to superiors or technical personnel, first orally and then in writing ； 3. Don’t rely solely on others; think for yourself as well about ways to solve the existing process problems ； 4. Research information, consult others, and discuss solutions to existing problems. Perhaps the existing process problems you mentioned have also been noticed by others, but why haven’t they been resolved yet? Because of others’ laziness? It could also be due to other unknown reasons, such as triggering chain reactions or giving rise to new difficult problems; all of these need to be taken into consideration. It’s important to think more and communicate more.

I understand you mean it’s a matter of the process supervisor’s work attitude, or rather, their awareness; it seems this can be resolved through coordination at the higher level.

First, we need to see what type of factory the poster is referring to. Factories that produce components need to focus on processing equipment as well as improving employees’ skills. As for chemical plants, I personally think the hardware there isn’t up to standard; it’s pointless to talk about anything else. For example, a tower-type device may, during normal production, have certain quality limitations that prevent it from meeting the required standards. Adjustments still cannot guarantee full compliance; the fundamental issue lies in the tower design and size. Many factories do not replace the column based on just one single parameter, as the cost would be too high. When problems are identified in quality process control, the only option is to hold meetings with those on the production floor to discuss them, but this merely addresses the symptoms rather than the root cause. It won’t solve any problems. In more severe cases, it can lead to quality accidents. As a personal suggestion, you might start by trying to establish corporate standards for your company, clearly defining the quality requirements for products; by acting in accordance with the law, things will be much easier for you. Let the senior management and the chairman handle the hardware issues. It's just my personal suggestion; please don’t criticize if you don’t like it.
