Around 22:00 every night, the current drawn by the circulating water pump increases by 1-2A, and then it drops by another 1-2A between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning. No adjustments were made during this period, and production remained stable. What exactly is the cause of this? At night, the temperature is low, the temperature of the water is low as well, resulting in high viscosity; this leads to a large pressure drop in the pipelines, requiring the circulation pump to develop high head pressure, and thus higher electrical current. Human operational factors* cannot be ruled out either.
This change in temperature occurs gradually, and the viscosity of water should also change gradually. If that’s the case, then the current should rise very slowly before falling just as slowly. However, what we observe is that at night, a noticeable increase in current can be seen on the trend chart, followed by a significant drop in the morning; it’s as if there are steps involved. When looking at the current levels throughout the month, it resembles the shape of the Great Wall. Why was the change so noticeable at that moment, and why did there be no fluctuations after the rise, with hardly any changes either after the drop in the morning?
