How can I use simple intelligent automated instruments to control a vacuum batch distillation unit? Which fellow sailor can help me and tell me what level of safety can be achieved with an intelligent instrument control system? Besides the ability to display all key process parameters centrally in the control room, what other functions are available? For example, can parameters be set on the control panel in the operation room? Can runtime parameters be recorded? Can a report of control parameters be printed? In the event of an accident on site, is it possible to urgently stop the operation of the distillation unit from the control room?
