【Beginner】Questions related to float-type level gauges

Gurus. In the specifications for float level gauges, there is a term related to the extension of the torsion tube; I’m not quite sure what it means. Also, how should the material of the torsion tube be chosen? I see on the samples things like Incone1600, Monel, Hasetlloy (-276), etc. Uh, there are also other materials that come into contact with liquids. What does this \"other\" category of components include? Please give me some advice. Express gratitude
Ask the manufacturer, talk to them – otherwise you won’t know what to provide, and the manufacturer won’t know what you need.
