Fibrostone asbestos-free gaskets can withstand high temperatures; they are also known as wound gasket bases, and some of them can handle temperatures up to 180 degrees. A relatively small force is sufficient to seal columns with these gaskets. They are not widely available on the market, and only large companies that have special requirements occasionally use them.
