Analysis of abnormal noise issues in liquid ring vacuum pumps

We have a vacuum pump used in one of our projects, and it makes noise while operating, as if there is something foreign inside the pump. This noise doesn’t occur when the pump reaches its ultimate vacuum level; it starts sounding after just 1 minute of operation. What could be the cause? The manufacturer says that the flexible valve plate in the pump requires a period of running-in. I would like to consult an expert.

How long can it run properly? Have there been any changes in the intermediate process conditions and parameters?

The manufacturer is being ridiculous; there’s no such thing as a running-in period for valve plates. . . . Try increasing the water supply volume.
