Li Junkai, the project leader, told reporters that this project uses Fischer-Tropsch synthesized oil as raw material, and employs hydrogenation processes to hydrogenate and saturate the benzene and olefins present in it (removing aromatics and olefins), after which products with a high purity of 99.9%, such as isopentane, n-hexane, isohexane, n-heptane, and n-octane, are obtained – products that meet the industry’s requirements ； According to tests and analyses conducted by authoritative institutions, its technologies and products are at the international leading level; they fill a gap in the domestic market, break the technological monopoly held by foreign competitors in this industry, and can fully replace imported products of the same type. “Our country has relatively abundant coal reserves in the world, while its oil reserves are relatively scarce. Therefore, the coal-to-oil refining industry holds great potential. In order to break foreign technological monopolies and fill the gaps in domestic technology and products, Zhongtuolihe Company invested 107 million yuan to establish a production facility for refined chemical products derived from coal. The company focused on developing high-purity raw materials such as automotive lubricants, pharmaceutical extractants, and air-conditioning refrigerants. ”Meng Yongjian said. The reporter learned from Zhongtuolihe Company that it has established partnerships with experts under the \"Thousand Talents Program,\" and has joined forces with universities such as Henan University of Science and Technology to set up research centers, thereby creating a chain of industry, academia, and research. To date, the company has filed 13 invention patents, and several coal-to-oil fine chemicals have filled gaps in the domestic market. Currently, in ordinary domestic petrochemical companies, a profit margin of over 15% is considered high. However, at Zhongtuolihé Company, the profit margin of the coal-based fine chemicals co-production project is not less than 50% after it goes into operation, with the profit margin for certain individual products exceeding 70%; the market prospects for these products are promising. Meng Yongjian told reporters that currently, the company’s high-purity isopentane, n-hexane, isohexane, n-heptane, and n-octane products are exported to countries such as South Korea, the UAE, Switzerland, Qatar, and Iran. The company plans to carry out phase two and phase three of its development projects, and once completed, these projects will enable the production of olefin series products as well as synthetic lubricant base oil products.
