It’s not the distance or the topic; it’s that we can no longer bring forth the vigor of our youth, that sense of elegance and grace, that calm demeanor, nor are we willing to take the time to have a simple conversation with someone alone……
To sustain a relationship, one person needs to take the initiative first, which then creates an opportunity for both parties to make efforts. If we still care about each other, why can’t we pick up the phone and dial that saved number to ask, “Friend, how have you been?” ”
It shows that everyone is getting old, right? ;P
Life is practical; when there’s no need to stay in touch, then naturally, no one stays in touch.
Being far apart and having lost touch for so long... It’s better not to meet, to keep holding onto memories, to keep them hidden, rather than facing the disappointment that comes from meeting after such a long time.
Yes, it’s all realistic now. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
