First, some teachers rely too heavily on multimedia courseware. It helps to improve students’ learning efficiency. Multimedia is a combination of various high-tech elements such as text, sound, pictures, animations, and video recordings. Its use effectively overcomes the limitations of traditional teaching methods in knowledge transmission, thereby enriching teaching activities. Practice has shown that the introduction of multimedia into classroom teaching accelerates students’ perception process, deepens their understanding, enhances their memory, and improves their application skills. At the same time, it is also highly effective in developing students’ observation skills, analytical skills, judgment skills, and application skills. 3. Transform the abstract into the concrete, enabling an effective integration of theory and practice. By utilizing multimedia, its interactive and visual advantages are harnessed to make the abstract become vivid and to render difficult-to-express concepts and theories easier to understand. It not only enables students to understand theoretical knowledge but also allows for the demonstration of practical operations that cannot be carried out in the classroom, through multimedia; this effectively combines theory with practice and also helps students to grasp the knowledge better. 4. It helps to improve students’ comprehensive abilities. When creating multimedia course materials, it is generally necessary to prepare all the teaching content as individual slides in advance. During class, these slides can be displayed in sequence, and thanks to the \"hyperlink\" function, it is possible to access other slides or files at any time; it is even possible to link to websites, which makes things very convenient and fast. This not only saves a significant amount of time spent on writing on the board, but also **expands the content of classroom teaching, allowing students to acquire more knowledge in a limited time and thereby improving their overall capabilities. Using multimedia in teaching offers advantages such as vividness, intuitiveness, and flexibility, and is widely welcomed by both teachers and students. However, if proper maintenance of the equipment is not ensured, coupled with factors such as teachers’ limited skills in creating teaching materials and using the equipment, multimedia teaching may fail to achieve the desired results.

Therefore, teachers need to participate in continuing education, which is undoubtedly a source of stress for subject teachers who are already busy with their regular work. 3. Equipment and environmental factors affect teaching effectiveness. To achieve the ideal results from using multimedia in teaching, it is not only necessary to have high-quality teaching materials and excellent teachers who understand teaching methods; the quality of the equipment as well as the environment of the classroom are also crucial. Since multimedia devices are composed of various high-tech components such as computers, projectors, audio systems, and network systems, in teaching these devices operate without the supervision or maintenance of professionals. Therefore, if it is used improperly or not maintained properly, it can lead to interruptions in teaching activities, a reduction in teaching time, and sometimes even chaos in the teaching process, affecting the overall quality of instruction. The most common problems in the teaching process are 1. computer viruses, 2. inadequate environmental conditions for using the equipment, and 3. poor ventilation in the classrooms.

The key in teaching activities is the teacher; the teacher is both the disseminator of knowledge and the guide of teaching activities, while multimedia is merely a tool. If teachers’ quality is low, even the best tools are of no use.
