By chance, I found that the book edited by Mr. Li Shifu was also about using Hysys; driven by this renowned expert’s reputation, I purchased the book. I mainly want to work on natural gas liquefaction. Since it coincided with Double 11, I made several calls to the store, and it finally arrived this morning. I couldn’t wait to start working on it following the example (for the LNG part), but it turned out to be some crappy thing – a mess full of errors. I don’t know whether this old expert has moral problems of his own, or if he was deceived by a group of people. Think about it: senior experts are in their 70s – how could they possibly edit and review a book related to computers? It’s highly likely to be those scoundrels who pretend to be one thing but are actually something else – how despicable! In comparison, Sun Lanyi’s book on process simulation is quite good; at least it contains fewer extremely basic and outrageous errors. Unfortunately, the depth of the technical explanations provided is insufficient.
