Should the hot water pipe be connected using flanges or threads? Due to the high thermal stress, the UPVC pipes in use on site tend to get damaged frequently; now FRPP pipes are being used. The temperature is 55°, and the pipe diameter is relatively small, DN32. Is it better to use flanges or threads for connection? Are there any other ways to avoid pipe damage?
Threaded connection is recommended, as flanges made of this material do not have sufficient strength and are prone to deformation.
It’s easy to connect with threads; flanges with small diameters are difficult to connect.
