Are safety managers just responsible for handling tasks that are unpleasant and that offend people everywhere?
Work is like that; gradually you’ll learn it.
If you have held several positions, you will find that each one has its own difficulties, as well as depending on your attitude and approach to work
Take your time; that’s how things start. In fact, working requires a lot of skills.
I don’t think so; safety managers also need to understand technology. If they do well, they can become safety experts and serve as guardians of safety on site. Everyone who is working on site hopes that you will be there to provide safety guidance, because only then will the managers feel at ease and the operators will be secure.
Doing management work doesn’t mean offending people everywhere; you’ll get used to it over time. Just keep doing your job well
It’s a job that involves taking the blame, and you’re indeed responsible for it, but it’s also a job that often requires making way for various things.
The accidents you avoid never actually happen, and ordinary people, due to limited foresight and understanding, lack a real sense of what has not occurred. It’s very difficult to change people’s perceptions. I hope to adjust the approach to handling issues as much as possible, so that both technicians and engineers can accept your way of working; let’s make changes gradually.
Adjust your mindset, then just work hard and do what you think is right
