【Q&A Question 128】August 26, 2016: An alarm is triggered indicating a low oil mist density in the oil mist lubrication system – how should this be adjusted? Lower the temperature, shut down the machine to replace the lubricating oil

Adjust the air supply system and use adapters to distribute oil appropriately; Check the fuel tank level, test the quality of the oil, and replace the lubricant if necessary

It is adjusted through the oil volume control valve and the air bypass valve on the oil mist nozzle
1. Check the liquid level in the oil mist reservoir to ensure that there is no alarm indicated on the control panel regarding the oil supply level; if the level is too low, oil mist cannot be generated; 2. Check whether the air temperature is 120°F/49°C. Below 120°F/49°C, the viscosity of the oil increases, resulting in low oil mist production ; 3. Adjust the air pressure control knob of the main generator to slightly increase the oil mist pressure, and then observe the changes in the oil mist concentration (it takes a few minutes for the changes in oil mist concentration to stabilize after the pressure is adjusted)
