Hello everyone, our company is engaged in the research and development of materials for oil pipelines, and we have encountered a few issues; we hope to get some help. 1. Some performance indicators of oil pipelines: Our company uses flexible composite pipes made from materials we produce ourselves, and we intend to use these in oil pipelines. I would like to know what specific requirements there are regarding the tensile strength and static pressure of oil transfer pipes And other requirements? What if these values need to be calculated based on actual conditions? Could you help provide the corresponding calculation formula? I checked the API standards, and they only specify the specific testing methods; they don’t outline what exact requirements need to be met After looking at Bernoulli’s principle, I want to know if there is a relationship between calculating the pressure drop, the pressure drop in the pipeline, and the pressure that the material must withstand I have little experience, but I still hope everyone can give me plenty of guidance.

Thank you, in. Since I work in the field of materials and processes, my focus is on ensuring that the materials meet engineering requirements. So I’d like to ask about the requirements in this area; if I try to look up the standards on my own, it seems like it involves delving into a completely different field. That’s true, but it’s a bit much to go through and figure out all of this. . . . . Isn’t there any approximate value in the industry for oil pipelines?
