Hello, sir: After our company’s dust collectors had their filter bags replaced and put back into operation, it was found that the ash temperature in chamber #2 of the dust collector was 40 degrees lower than that in the other chambers. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the sensors located in the ash hoppers were not covered with ash; these sensors were replaced as well. When the top cover was removed, it was found that there were 4 corrosion-related leaks at the air injection ports. After those issues were fixed, the dust collectors were put back into operation, but the ash temperature in chamber #2 remains low (118 degrees for chambers #1, #3, and #4). No leaks were found after checking the site. Additionally, the current consumption of the fan was 28.5 A before, but it increased to 29.5 A after restart. No obvious leakage points were detected during the inspection. What could be the reason? Thank you!
1. It may be a fault in the temperature measurement device. 2. The dust cleaning in this chamber is inadequate, resulting in high resistance and uneven distribution of the flue gas flow; as a result, there is less flue gas and less ash in chamber 2.
Based on your description, is there any damage to the bag that might be causing poor dust removal? By the way, how is the performance of your equipment used for dust transportation? Feel free to share your insights
The newly installed bag filters are highly unlikely to be damaged, and the ash conveying system is currently operating normally.
