Advantages of reciprocating pumps: 1. They can achieve very high discharge pressures, and the flow rate is independent of pressure. II. It has good inhalation performance and high efficiency. Disadvantages ； The traffic is unstable, and maintenance is troublesome. Advantages of shielded pumps ； I. There are no dynamic leakage points. II. Fewer parts make maintenance easier. Disadvantages ； Cavitation occurs as soon as the pressure drops, and once cavitation happens, it damages components such as the graphite sliding bearings and thrust plates.
