One must never underestimate the impact of coal slurry particle size on burners. If the particle size is too large, the viscosity is low, but deposition occurs easily, leading to irregular blockages in the burner channels, uneven fuel injection from the burner, and fluctuations in the coal slurry pressure difference. The particle size is too fine and the viscosity is high, which affects flow.
The particle size distribution aims to increase the slurry concentration as much as possible while maintaining the viscosity, stability, and fluidity of the coal slurry. As for the impact on gasification, certainly the smaller the particle size, the better; this allows for rapid and complete combustion, improves the utilization rate of carbon, and reduces consumption.
