Can the flexible connection in the slag lock hopper flushing water pipeline be removed? Can it be changed to a hard link? Where does his vibration come from?
Soft connections can be removed; I’ve removed all the soft connections on my end. As long as the source of vibration is identified and eliminated, there will be no problem. Soft connections cannot solve the fundamental problem.
The earthquake source is usually the same; how did you resolve the issue in your case? Where should the support be applied, what type of support should be used? Can you send a picture? In my personal understanding, the source of this shock is the impact generated instantly when water behind the valves pushes against the water in front of them after both valves close; it’s also related to the impact that occurs when the check valves close, as well as the impact resulting from the static pressure difference in water level when both valves are open. I’m not sure how to avoid this. The design uses static pressure impact to lock the ash in the hopper – is that correct?
This can be canceled; some designs have it, while others don’t. The vibration source is the return movement of the check valve and the impact of water when the two-position valve is closed.
It should be possible to cancel this. I’m not sure what the diameter of the drainage pipes for the lock hoppers is; our flushing pipeline from the flushing tank to the lock hopper has a diameter of DN400, and the drainage pipe for the lock hopper is also DN400. After modifying that drainage pipe to have a diameter of DN400/DN300, the vibration levels were significantly reduced. In other words, it is not necessary for the water to flow in a straight line from the lockbox flushing tank to the slag pool.
In my opinion, the vibration of the 300 pipes is generally lower.
