In the pneumatic accessories of the control valve, the booster relay experiences frequent automatic exhaust when not in adjustment mode, yet the valve position remains stable; the pressure gauge on the control valve fluctuates between 0.3 and 0.4, while the pressure from the instrument air supply remains stable. What’s going on? What should I do?
So what should be done? Is it necessary to disassemble it for inspection? This valve is very important; I can’t risk using it with wires connected across it
Spray soapy water on all the connections to see where there are leaks. If there is indeed a leak, try tightening it manually, but not too hard; if that doesn’t work, you’ll have to wait until the vehicle is stopped to deal with it.
The main issue is that this sound isn’t continuous; it’s present sometimes and absent at other times, and sometimes it comes in bursts
Generally, it’s air leakage. If you’ve checked and there are no issues, see if the connection fittings are loose. If that’s fine, then check whether there are any problems with the settings of the actuator. If not, and if the valve isn’t that important, set a higher dead zone value and observe again (you can also try using a different actuator). If that still doesn’t work, check by performing the operation to see if air is leaking from that exhaust port (the diaphragm may be damaged).
