With Allen-Bradley V5.2.4, when I try to add analog values to the display, I simply copy the existing analog display and then use a shortcut to replace it. Why doesn’t this work? After the instruments are put into use, negative values are displayed, meaning that no dynamic values have been entered. Please advise me – does it really mean that I have to create each analog and digital value from scratch?

Under normal circumstances, it’s fine. We make the modifications on the screen and then copy them; however, there’s a risk that the modifications may not be complete. To add new entries to the database, it’s necessary to send them to the server, and we do all this while the system is stopped
Everyone, take a look at my reply regarding the configuration process on the second floor – what are the issues? Please help me out
The problem has been resolved; it’s necessary to read the parameters back in the controller algorithm, and then the display structure will be correct
First, use the program to create a new display point; after referencing it, check if everything is working properly; If it’s normal, it indicates that the modifications to the backup point are correct; the problem lies with the display ; If it isn’t displayed separately, that is, if it involves circuits or even complex circuits, check whether there are any elements in the underlying block diagram of those circuits that have been overlooked or not modified ; If it’s not working properly, then check whether there are any errors in the underlying program, or if there are any issues with the hardware
Thank you for your answers; I’ve learned from them. This issue has been successfully resolved, and thanks to everyone for participating in the discussion
I also encounter this situation often; I’ve learned* it.
We can talk more about this later; do you also use Allen-Bradley systems?
Which version of Allen-Bradley do you have? I have V5.2.4
