As the title suggests, I am seeking a method for detecting the content of phenothiazines (in small amounts) in fatty acid ethyl esters, with concentrations ranging from a few hundred ppm to several thousand ppm. Thank you
Phenothiazines are a class of anthracene compounds containing thioazine atoms, whereas fatty acid esters are essentially chain hydrocarbons, and can be accurately analyzed based on the ultraviolet absorption and fluorescence properties of the anthracene rings. Such impurities at levels of several hundred to thousands of ppm should be easy to analyze and test. Additionally, its composition can be easily detected using liquid chromatography.
