Help: Sulfur content in naphthalene? I’m new to this industry and not very familiar with it; I would appreciate some guidance from those who are more experienced: why is it necessary to analyze the sulfur content in naphthalene? What are the effects of high sulfur content? Furthermore, what is the general requirement for sulfur content in the downstream industries of naphthalene?
Primarily organic sulfur compounds such as thioindene, which can generally be removed through fractional crystallization
