Clause 8.3.6 of MIIT 20585 requires that \"for materials designated for use in the normalized state, they should be heat-formed under controlled temperature conditions using the normalization process, or undergo re-normalization after forming.\" Does this requirement mean that cold forming is not allowed for materials designated for use in the normalized state?
It should be possible to perform cold forming; post-weld heat treatment can be used to restore it
I think it can be cold-formed, as long as the cold-forming deformation rate remains within the standard range.
Does it mean that the mechanical properties are restored after shaping?
