It can be said that those who are able to solve problems for Haiyou enjoy a certain level of popularity, but this popularity exists in the minds of the Haiyou themselves. I’m not sure what is meant by frequent changes in rules; I’d like to focus on the current list of the top ten. For the list of the top ten for a given year, my principle for making recommendations and voting has always been to choose those forum members who have made significant contributions during that year. This can be demonstrated in various ways, rather than giving votes out out of courtesy. Of course, everyone has their own standards in mind, and one cannot force others to do anything. Regarding the selection of the top 10, significant reforms have been carried out since last year, which allow for a high degree of control over the final results; unlike in previous years when the outcome was determined solely by the number of votes. Nevertheless, it’s impossible to satisfy everyone.
After consultation with the administrators in charge of this event, the following elements have been added to encourage members to participate this year: the method for selecting the top 10 out of 20 candidates, as well as the criteria for ranking. To further motivate both new and existing members to engage in interactions, the method for selecting the top 10 out of 20 is as follows: 1. The top 2 candidates among the first 20 with the highest number of posts posted during that year are automatically selected as part of the top 10. 2. The candidate among the first 20 with the highest number of helpful responses given during that year is automatically selected as part of the top 10. 3. The candidate among the first 20 who has received the title of “excellent moderator” the most times during that year is automatically selected as part of the top 10. 4. Members who have already won the top 10 award twice in the past 5 years are not eligible for inclusion in this year’s top 10 list; however, if they make it into the top 20, they will be granted the title of “Honorary Member” for that year (+5 contributions +10 prestige). 5. Among the top 10 members, at least 4 must not be part of the management team. (The non-management teams refer to regular members, honorary members, and the technical team.) 6. A basic requirement is that the top 10 members must have posted more than 100 posts in that year. More details are available in the event post.
There are hardly any changes to the official functions of the forum. Functions labeled as beta, trial, or testing are generally unstable; only those that are officially launched are stable and reliable. Given that our overall levels and qualities vary, we should take various factors into consideration and show understanding and empathy toward one another. 1. The number of posts and clicks should be essential metrics for a website to operate and survive. It is right for a website to create various opportunities to encourage people to post. As for the quality of those posts, it varies from person to person; some have achieved a high level of proficiency through experience and are highly respected by others ； Some have only a glimpse of the basics, some have just begun to understand the essentials, while others have already mastered it. Of course, I still prefer an increase in the number of posts; as for improving the quality of those posts, I think that should be left to the experts’ feedback. 2. For most netizens (including me, of course), it’s just the beginning; there’s no talk of making contributions – rather, it’s about learning from the valuable experience of mentors. 3. The role of management is also invaluable; without good management, the forum will lose its vitality. It is recommended that the forum pursue development by sticking to two approaches: management and technology operating separately (as is the case with most corporate development models), while adhering to a model that puts technology at the core with management playing a supporting role. PS: The Haichuan APP is the only app that doesn’t require any inspection; my phone’s security software keeps organizing it, and the Haichuan APP always passes the checks unconditionally, while other apps often disappear for no reason… Not to mention computers
After all, people in our country tend to be considerate and focus on abstract matters, especially on forums where they can’t see each other. . . . . . Any competition determined by vote counts is nothing but cheating.
