For the vacuum cryogenic storage tank (horizontal type), is it possible to install an additional process manhole to facilitate the filling of the insulation layer with perlite? The manhole can be sealed after the perlite has been filled in
It’s not clear what the volume of the tank is; if it’s 60 cubic meters, process holes for filling with pearlescent sand need to be created on the tank’s exterior. Generally, 4 holes with a diameter of around 150 millimeters are required for this purpose. These holes are then sealed off with covers, as it’s inconvenient to fill the tank with pearlescent sand using just one process hole.
