As the title suggests, is flaw detection required during the fabrication and installation of lined pipes? Seeking advice
Tests, inspections, and scope of use for PTFE lining layers: 1. Pipes and pipe fittings are subjected to hydrostatic testing at 1.5 times the design pressure. 2. For those involving a PTFE lining layer, 100% integrity testing is carried out after a hydrostatic test, and the leakage detection method employed is spark testing.
