In accordance with requirement 4.2.7 of AQ3036-2010 \"Specifications for the Installation of Safety Monitoring Equipment at Tank Farm Sites\", which states that \"the tank farm should monitor parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and humidity in real time\", for the current project involving two tank farms approximately 80 meters apart, should a temperature and humidity transmitter as well as a wind speed transmitter be installed in each tank farm, or can one set of such transmitters be shared by both tank farms? Additionally: 1. What is the purpose of installing temperature and humidity transmitters as well as wind speed transmitters in the tank area? I’m not quite sure. 2. Are there any things to note when installing temperature and humidity transmitters and wind speed transmitters? Are there any requirements regarding the location where it should be installed in the tank area?
This is mainly for safety reasons; by keeping track of factors such as temperature, humidity, and wind speed in the tank area, it becomes possible to decide flexibly whether measures should be taken to maintain a safe working environment there. It is recommended to equip each tank area with such a set
I don’t understand the purpose of temperature and humidity, but I know about wind direction/wind speed: The flow of gases is related to wind, and it is used in conjunction with gas detectors as a reference. It is generally installed in a safe area (such as on the roof of a control room); it is better to place it in a tank farm, but explosion-proof products are required. @jiaguoyun
