Today, when I watched the workers install the piping, no gaskets were used between the flanges; May I ask if gaskets are not necessary for the normal use of flat flanges? If the piping is not used and gaskets are added at the time of commissioning, it should have an impact on the pipes, right?
It will become more difficult to carry out repairs and replacements in the future
For the valves we purchase here, some factories do not include them as part of the package, while for many others that are not included, they need to be purchased separately

No gaskets are needed during piping; add them during installation. It will shrink after welding, and adding shims solves the problem
I think this isn’t appropriate. Some people say that once the pipes are connected, they can be pulled apart to insert something, but there are pipes that simply cannot be pulled apart. Moreover, gaskets have to be added after the pipes have been installed, and then the pipes have to be pulled with great force – it’s really unreasonable……
Pressure pipelines and all flanges that require sealing must be used with matching gaskets; without gaskets, how can sealing be achieved?
Well, they weld everything first and then install the pipes. I saw that the bolts were tightened quite tightly; it seems like it’s done to save costs, as pipeline purging will be carried out later, and installing gaskets first makes them more likely to get damaged……
