Pressure rating of the valve’s pressure seal

Hello everyone, I’m new to the design industry and have a question I’d like to ask. High-pressure valves generally adopt a pressure self-sealing design. Are there any relevant national standards or specifications that stipulate that high-pressure valves must use this pressure self-sealing approach? What level counts as stress? Thank you all
There are no standard specifications; it depends on the choice you make. Generally, self-sealing is more important in cases involving high temperatures, and high pressure is not the real factor at play. High temperatures may cause high-temperature creep of the middle flange bolts, which is why a self-sealing mechanism was designed.
