China Chemical announced on the evening of December 14 that the company has recently signed a general contract for the construction of a natural gas chemical complex project in Kazakhstan with the Kazakhstani Petrochemical Industry Company. The contract duration is 42 months, with a total contract value of 1.865 billion US dollars, which is equivalent to 12.01 billion yuan. This amount represents 17.34% of the company’s revenue in 2014. The announcement also states that the commencement of this project is contingent on the project partners obtaining 80% of the project financing loans from banks in China; the final signing of the loan agreement will affect the implementation of the project contract, and there is still uncertainty as to whether this contract will actually be implemented. ----------------------------------------- Which design institute was responsible for the main work of this project?
I saw the news today; it seems that the Tianchen and Hualu consortium won the bid. As for how they will divide it, I don’t know.
That should be enough for these two design institutes to last for a few years
With the 450,000 tons/year PDH project as the main focus, Hualu Institute takes overall responsibility.
You’re really good; you know everything
There aren’t many PDH sets available in the country, right? Do Hualu and Tianchen have any performance in this area? It seems that PDH and PP are SEI’s strengths. SEI has an especially rich track record.
You’re wrong; Hualu is responsible for most of the domestic propane dehydrogenation operations. S EI has not been done yet.
The chances of this project being profitable are very low
PDH Hualu does indeed have performance. What about PP? Does this Hualu have any performance?
In China, PP’s performance is primarily seen in Sinopec, specifically with SEI, SNEC, and SSEC. CNPC’s HQCECs also have a few.
