The electromagnetic flowmeter has no issue with flow display

Yesterday afternoon, with an electromagnetic flowmeter from Shanghai Guanghua, no flow was indicated when the pump was started; the reading on the gauge at the site was 0000. Trying again after powering it off still yielded no flow. Upon checking the gauge, the excitation coil was in good condition as were the electrodes. No action was taken at the time of the power outage; power was restored the next day when work resumed, the pump was started, and flow was regained, returning to normal. Does anyone know what the reason is?
An electromagnetic flowmeter is a velocity-type flowmeter, and velocity-type flowmeters generally allow for the measurement of the flow velocity of the fluid inside them. If the internal fluid flow rate is 0, it can generally be concluded that there is no flow of fluid inside, and it is recommended to check the reasons related to the process itself. Another possible reason is an issue with the dielectric constant of the medium measured inside the pipe. It is possible that the electrodes are unable to detect anything due to differences in the dielectric constants of the mixed liquids. Also, check whether your electromagnet is separate-type or integrated-type, and ensure that the wiring is secure.

Set the dielectric constant of the medium measured inside the pipeline, specify an appropriate range for this value, or turn off the detection for empty pipelines
If the water level in the pipe does not reach the full capacity, especially if even the electrodes inside the pipe are not submerged, the flow meter is in a empty-pipe condition, as the two electrodes do not come into contact with the medium being measured. Check the installation location to ensure that the flow meter is in a full-bore measurement condition.
