Should rainwater and other liquids be drained outside the fire dike of a methanol storage tank? How can this be achieved? Should a pit be created inside the fire dike, a valve placed in that pit, and then a pipe installed to lead the waste fluid out through the fire dike into the sewage system? Is it okay to do this? ? ?
If a water seal well is to be installed, how should it be constructed? What is the structure of a water seal well? Thank you!
There is essentially a collection pit, with two valve pipes leading outward; for the first 15 minutes, wastewater is sent through them, and afterwards they switch to sending rainwater.
Is that valve located in the sump inside the fire dike? ? Can pipes pass through fire dikes?
