Recently, the safety supervision agency inspected the company and said that there was no ESD system, requiring one to be installed. I would like to ask whether designing an ESD system requires a design institute to carry out the design, or can the company itself define the requirements based on the process conditions, develop the interlock logic, and then submit it to the manufacturer.
You can put forward your own requirements based on the company’s processing conditions and ask the manufacturer to carry it out.

Since the safety supervision agency has classified it as a major hazard source, a SIS is necessary; this way, in the event of any accidents in the future, the responsibility can be shifted to the design institute. Many SIS systems these days are essentially ineffective – even if the system level is sufficient, the on-site instruments aren’t up to par, so such systems are of little use!

We’ve just completed the acceptance process here, and generally, when they come for inspections, as long as you have an ESD system in place that meets certain requirements, that’s sufficient. Because sometimes the people who come are quite professional, it’s not possible to get away with shoddy work; it must meet the technical requirements.
