I have seen many studies on coal gasification, all of which state that it represents an effective way to utilize coal in a clean manner, and that the lower the quality of the coal, the more beneficial the coal gasification process becomes. So, compared to the gasification process, which one, coal-fired power generation or gasification, produces fewer pollutants in the environment? We know that the gasification process removes the fly ash from the raw gas through a carbon scrubber, and then, via desulfurization and decarburization, produces \"clean\" syngas ； In the process of thermal power generation, what methods are used to remove solid particles such as fly ash? Does thermal power generation require only high-quality coal?
By combining thermal power generation with gasification through the IGCC process, coal can be utilized comprehensively, thereby improving power generation efficiency
If considered on a per-unit basis alone, coal-fired power generation boilers cause more pollution than coal gasification (coal gasification can be carried out using pure oxygen in a fixed-bed system for continuous gas production)
