The purpose of boiler boiling is to remove the impurities and oils that have entered the boiler during its manufacturing, transportation, installation, or repair. The presence of these contaminants not only blocks the water pipes and deteriorates the quality of steam, but it also impairs heat transfer, causing the heated surfaces to overheat and get damaged; therefore, they must be removed by boiling the furnace. 1. Add 2 to 3 kg of trisodium phosphate and 2 to 4 kg of sodium hydroxide per ton of boiler water. Be careful not to add solid medications directly into the boiler. 2. Under pressure-free conditions, the aforementioned chemicals are prepared into a uniform 20% solution, which is then slowly introduced into the boiler drum along with the boiler feedwater, or injected into the boiler drum using a chemical dosing pump. 3. Heat is applied to generate steam inside the boiler; the steam can be discharged through an air valve or the outlet of a lifted safety valve. 4. Reduce combustion, carry out waste discharge, and maintain the water level or keep the boiler filled with water. It is particularly important to assign clear roles to those involved in the furnace heating process, establish proper operating procedures and standards for this process, and ensure that they are strictly followed. Especially when preparing the solution for boiling, staff should wear rubber shoes, rubber gloves, rubber aprons, and face shields with protective glass to avoid burns from the alkaline solution.
