Are thermocouples and thermal resistors of the Rosemount, Siemens, and Yokogawa brands manufactured in China? Or acting as an agent for foreign manufacturers is also possible
That’s right, there are plenty of them; it’s only in this aspect that the gap with foreign countries is small.
I’d like to share the results of the verification: Rosemount will definitely do it, Yokogawa clearly will not do it, and other foreign companies also won’t. Siemens’ position is a bit unclear; the sales phone number provided by their 400 customer service on their official website indicates that they will carry out this task
I only know that Rosemount definitely does other unknown things
Domestic products are fine; I have been working in instrument installation for many years, and I rarely come across foreign-made products. In large petrochemical plants, most of the instruments are imported, while things like thermal resistors, thermocouples, bimetallic thermometers, and pressure gauges are of domestic manufacture.
Yeah. The client demands it; there’s no way around it
Rosemount does it, Yokogawa doesn’t; Siemens can submit bids under a private label when necessary (it actually doesn’t produce the product itself). To be honest, the client here doesn’t understand anything either – they don’t even conduct any market research before making purchases.
Isn’t Rosemount produced by Beijing Far East Instruments? I think Tiankang also does manufacturing on their behalf
