Why is there so much water in the spent catalyst taken out from catalyst V1108? Note: Unpurified air has been isolated
What device does this tag refer to?
Is it because the non-purified air valve doesn’t close properly? .
When unfiltered air is supplied under normal conditions, there will be no water.
Unpurified air always contains some water, to a greater or lesser extent. Here in winter, the unpurified air will freeze solid even when it’s allowed to flow outside; this is the case even when it’s in use
The non-purified air duct has been removed by the owner; it can therefore be considered the end point of the non-purified air supply. If it is used occasionally, water may appear in the airflow. I’ll share an example: our factory is located in the south, and during the rainy season, the humidity of the unfiltered air is high. Thanks to thorough dehydration, no water contamination was detected in either the unfiltered or filtered air. However, a leak was detected at the end of the unpurified air stream below our hot catalyst tank; after cutting out and replacing the pipeline, clumped catalyst accumulated inside was found, along with free water.
Is the loose air at the bottom of your V1108 being used for this purpose? Logically, there shouldn’t be any water at such high temperatures
