Can only pumps designed in accordance with API610 be equipped with an API682 flushing scheme?

Are only pumps designed in accordance with API610 eligible for the API682 flushing scheme? Can pumps designed in accordance with national standards be equipped with an API682 flushing scheme? 2. I’ve been to rack-mounted chemical plants, where some pumps don’t come with a flushing function ； For some pump flushing systems, a water pipe from the tap is simply connected, without regard to factors such as water pressure or flow rate; the mechanical seal can still remain functional for several months. Does this type of sealing system comply with the standard \"JB_T 6629-1993 Mechanical Seal Circulating Protection System\"? The standards from 1993 are 23 years old now – is anyone still using them?
I would like to ask the experts: is API682 the standard to be followed for any mechanical seal that requires flushing? Is the pump designed according to API610 at this time?
A flushing system compliant with API682 does not necessarily require a pump that meets API610 standards. The JB/T 6629 standard you mentioned has an updated version; the new standard is called JB/T 6629-2015 Mechanical Seal Circulation Protection Systems and Auxiliary Devices, with an implementation date of March 1, 2016. The new version still lacks the text, and it seems that we don’t use the domestic standards for rinsing procedures very often.

It depends on what you ask for. . It is usually provided by the machine seal manufacturer. . .

It is usually provided by the machine seal manufacturer, or the pump manufacturer may purchase it separately; however, this will be specified in the pump procurement agreement, with the pump manufacturer delivering the entire set together.
