The economic situation was poor in 2015; colleagues in design firms discussed it – how many of them didn’t receive an annual bonus, and how many had their salaries reduced or were laid off? Do people expect things to improve in 2016?
I watched Phoenix TV yesterday; it seemed to say that it will take 16 or 17 years before we reach the bottom of this economic downturn, and recovering from that bottom is another matter altogether
A salary cut is certain this year; as for next year, things might get even worse.
Will the design institute run out of work? It seems to me that all the design firms I’ve come across are too busy to take on any work; they even refuse to handle small renovation projects. :o

There is no year-end bonus; usually 80% of the regular salary is paid, and it’s not clear whether the remaining amount will be paid in full by the end of the year.:
Things are not what they used to be; many large companies can no longer get orders.
The unit’s business development has been underway for over half a year, and at least half of the designers are idle! The prospects are not optimistic
I was placed on suspension with pay at my previous design firm, and now I have changed jobs. . . . .
