I’m a newcomer, as well as a recent graduate with basic knowledge in mechanical engineering. I am currently working at a chemical company, and the company places a great deal of emphasis on environmental protection issues. After the wastewater is treated, ammonium chloride is produced as a by-product – a problematic issue that cannot be simply discarded. The material used for this type of container is not very clear. When the company first established its factory, it opted for containers made of enamel; later, in order to achieve better corrosion resistance, it invested a large amount of money to purchase containers made of titanium. In the end, containers made of titanium 2 still didn’t work; I came across information online regarding duplex steel. It is said that this material is highly resistant to chloride corrosion. I would like to ask those experienced professionals who have been in the field for a long time: how do you choose materials in such situations? :D welcomes discussion!

The concentration should be relatively high, allowing ammonium chloride to be separated directly using a centrifuge. As for temperature, it reaches its maximum value at the steam temperature, around 140 degrees Celsius.
Are there any conclusive reports available on the results after use, such as whether there are any changes in titanium centrifuges after one year of use?
