It’s been the tenth year since I started working in dry chemical processing and engineering management. The chemical industry has been in a very poor state these past years; salaries are delayed repeatedly, and they’re already not high to begin with, making life even more difficult. Words only bring tears... Finally, my wife has resigned; with no major concerns left, it’s time to go. The only certificates that can be considered impressive are those for mechanical and electrical engineering, cost estimation and installation, as well as chemical process engineering. I applied for several positions at the end of the year, but got little response; it is said that it’s easier to find jobs at the beginning of the year. Actually, I’m not even very sure of the direction I should take – should I continue working in the chemical industry? Should I go with something related to installation instead? Or cost? Others. . The reason to continue working in the chemical industry is that in another two years I’ll be eligible for a senior engineer title; with a few more certifications, I can reportedly apply to become an expert (haha) ； Adhering to the principle of applying what one has learned and focusing on engineering-related work is the only way to increase the value of one’s certificates.
