I have an XMT628 regulator. If there are any users who know how to adjust this regulator, could they please help me solve this problem? I want to use the regulator to control the opening degree of a valve at a value I set myself, but I couldn’t find any instructions on how to do this in the manual. I only see the changes in the upper and lower limits of the valve, indicated by outL/outH; other aspects have little to do with the valve. In the “Operating Parameters List” there are two options: “First Alarm Method” and “Second Alarm Method”, but I haven’t managed to figure out what they entail. I hope Haiyou can tell me, thank you!
I haven’t used it, but the instructions don’t provide any information regarding PID parameters. This controller seems to be of the on/off type; with it, one can only control the opening and closing of valves using alarm points, and it’s not possible to achieve continuous automatic adjustment (a controller with PID regulation is required for that).
The output signal is connected to the control valve. If the regulator is indeed a on/off type regulator, and your control valve is used to regulate the liquid level, then it can be used! The liquid level can be controlled using a on/off control scheme; it is recommended to have the valve fully open at a liquid level of 70% and fully closed at 30%.
What we adjust is not a liquid, but a gas
