Is there anyone else with the same problem as me? ? ? Did the PTFE gasket get damaged or leak during installation? ? ?
It's important to clarify in your question whether it's a problem with the gasket itself or an installation issue. If leakage occurs as soon as it is installed, consider the issues with the installation method and the quality of the flange. If leakage occurs during operation, consider using gaskets; think about the selection of gaskets as well as bolt pre-tensioning. The use of various adhesives or other bonding agents during the installation of gaskets is highly discouraged. Just wrap it with a Teflon tape 1–2 more times and that’s it~
Does the standard allow wrapping? If the sealing is not good, could we consider the roughness or flatness of the flange surface? Process the sealing surface after welding it finally?

Do you mean to check the sealing surface of the flange and then carry out some treatment? It’s better to adjust the PTFE flange gasket according to the flange
