The flow rate of the metering pump is 0.9 cubic meters, the design pressure is 4 bar, the medium being transported is water, the outlet pipe diameter is DN25, the straight pipe length is 43.3 m, the vertical height is 31.7 m, there are 16 90-degree elbows, and 5 DN25 ball valves. At present, the pump outlet pressure at high head and high frequency exceeds the design value. May I ask the experienced colleagues whether increasing the pipe diameter can reduce the system resistance, and by how much? .
A flow rate of 0.5 m/s – could there be some blockage somewhere?
